Stella D'Itria is a charming villa positioned on large, secluded estates and has recently been renovated to include modern comforts, with beautiful surroundings which you can enjoy in your free time. It’s the perfect place for your Italian cooking and yoga vacation.

Each room has an appropriate bathroom, but not en-suite. The interiors have a rustic and rural taste and make the stay in the house pleasant and welcoming. Do not forget the coolness of which you can enjoy even on warmer days. Gazeboes beside the pool are very well served for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with a beautiful view of the countryside. Even meadows and olive trees can be used as great places to relax even during the hottest moments of the day, perhaps reading a beautiful hammock swinging book.

Cooking Workshop

If you have a passion for cooking and would like to learn more and ground your understanding and increase both your theoretical knowledge and culinary skills for the preparation of delicious food that is nourishing and healthy, this retreat could be a workshop for you! You will learn how to prepare delicious and balancing dishes of Ayurvedic, Mediterranean, or macrobiotic cooking with Italian style and have fun doing it.

When you leave, you will have the practical knowledge of preparing several delicious Ayurvedic or macrobiotic recipes and come back home with the knowledge and experience to cook your own wholesome and tasty meal. The retreat is not about having recipes on paper that you could cook at home. It is about giving you confidence in the Mediterranean, Ayurvedic, and macrobiotic cooking, so that you know by feeling and heart, how much of which spice or vegetable to put. You will know the combinations, you will know what fits together and what doesn’t, and you will also be able to cook your own creations.


The yoga classes are for all ages and all levels of yoga practitioners. The practice of Integral yoga in nature will open your eyes and your heart to the splendor of the universe releases anxieties and worries and brings peace. You will pursue together to reconnect with yourself and discover your deep bond with nature. Yoga is an ancient discipline that is based on a system of psycho-physical practices that harmoniously develop the body, mind, and spirit of every human being. Integral yoga is a practice that follows the teachings of Master Swami Sivananda Saraswati. The goal is a healthy strong body and a clear, calm, and controlled mind and a strong will.

Through this practice, the body gains more elasticity, tonicity, strengthens muscles, and in doing so also have mental strength. This way, the tensions are eliminated, the body is loaded with strength and vitality, the mind becomes agile, balanced, light and consequently, the creative potential that resides in every individual can emerge. Thanks to the deep physical, mental, and emotional relaxation, the individual can reduce the states of stress and anxiety by achieving a harmonious development of all of his being. Exercises for body dissolution, yoga positions (asana), energy exercises, breathing techniques (pranayama), self-massage, and guided relaxation (Yoga Nidra) will be practiced.


This retreat will take place in Stella d'Itria. It is a charming structure set in the Apulia countryside with breathtaking views. It is situated four kilometers south of Martina Franca in the heart of the Itria valley, Italy.


Puglia is known as the garden of Italy because of its delicious and abundant natural produce. It is also the home of Italian olive oil and glorious ancient grains.
